For years that lapsed since the adoption of the Law on Electronic Signature and the Law on Electronic Docu-rnprovides for voluntary tax return filing in electronic form. Nevertheless, the next Cabinet might well try and change the law, because the electronic format of a tax return makes taxes easier, faster and cheaper to assess and is ideally suited for verification and cross-reference. The new parliament coalition, whatever it might be, is likely to support the changes in the law that facilitate both tax enforcement and tax compliance.
