The Government of Ecuador, aware that civil aviation is one of the main pillars of economic activities today, has decided to contribute to the development of this mode of transport as no other administration has ever done before. In recent years, the Civil Aviation General Directorate of Ecuador (DGAC) has not only made significant progress in the areas of aviation administration, regulation, surveillance and control, but has also made the most significant investment in airport infrastructure in the history of the country.
