With the objective of reducing green house gas (GHG) emissions to 80?95% below 1990 levels by 2050, the European Union (EU) has analyzed the energy sector implications of the European Commission?s Energy Roadmap 2050, which investigates how this goal can be achieved, taking into account different scenarios.
