摘要

In this paper, a GaAs beam lead diode is illuminated by two fixed W-band millimeter wave frequencies to assess the difference frequency response at X-band. Measured results are compared to an expected mixed frequency response, utilizing a Volterra series expansion solution, which considers the reactive component influences under nonconjugate matching conditions. A nonlinear model is assessed with the solution approach to predict potential performance. A nonconjugate matched condition Volterra series expansion provides good agreement with less than 1-dB variations across the central slice of the response.
