摘要

Explores factors affecting the implementation of intranets, whichnare the technology upon which many knowledge management (KM) systems arenbuilt. Because intranets facilitate the sharing of employee knowledge,nmany believe that organizational culture influences intranetnimplementation. The results of this study found that intranetnimplementation is facilitated by a culture that emphasizes an atmospherenof trust and concern for other people (ethical culture), flexibility andninnovation (developmental culture), and policies, procedures andninformation management (hierarchical culture). Management should ensurenthat the proper values are in place to optimize intranet implementationnand to facilitate knowledge sharing
