摘要

Referring to the technology of SAW wireless identificationnsystems, a multi-resolution wireless force sensing system, including anpassive time-delay SAW device and a specific interrogation unit, isnintroduced in this paper. Using an IDT, which connects with an antenna,nas the force sensing element is a design to transduce thenelectromagnetic wave into surface acoustic wave and vice versa. Severalnreflectors are designed to get multi-resolution. Sample/hold devices arenused instead of high-speed A/D converter to construct a low-costninterrogation system. Properties of the sensing system are theoreticallynpredicted and experimentally verified
