Presents a design method utilizing simple semi-empirical equationsnfor round, plano-convex SC-cut resonators. These equations werendeveloped on the basis of experimental results, collected over a longnperiod, relating SC-cut resonator design and performance covering a widenrange of frequencies, radii of curvature, and plate diameters. Thenequations make possible the design of fundamental, third overtone, andnfifth overtone resonators. An example calculation of resonatornparameters and comparison with experimental results are also presented
