摘要

A method for SVC damping controller design based on robust pole assignment method is proposed. In the deisgn procedure, the proposed method uses a nominal model which reprepsents weakly damped interarea modes. The ignored higher order modes and perturbation of the low frequency modes are considered as mul- tiplicative perturbations. The controller with high performance and high robustness can be derived easily utilizing H_∞ optimal control theory.
