摘要

Current status and future prospect for analog and RF CMOS integrated circuits will be discussed. The physical relationship between SNR and consumed energy and the performance trend between SNR and signal bandwidth are reviewed to understand ADCs. Next, the major A/D conversion architectures will be studied. The mismatch voltage distribution vs. transistor size and compensation technique in a comparator will be studied for the flash ADCs. The nature of a capacitive DAC and the high precision techniques, and the mechanism of noise related with the conversion speed in SAR ADC will be shown. Lastly , a technology direction of ADCs will be discussed. Also, wide band RF receiver circuits and now-power, low-noise, and low voltage signal sensing circuits will be discussed to show the future prospects for the analog front-end circuits.
