I enjoyed your YouTube video on the Garmin GNS430W where you showed how to add fixes outside of the fix on vectors to final. I have actually needed this. My question regards activating a leg of an approach inside of the IAF. My air- port (KLGD) has a GPS approach with two IAFs 30-40 miles out. This often requires spending far more time in icy IFR than I want. I tried activating an intermediate leg, but upon crossing, it didn't sequence to the next inbound leg. It wants to turn me 180-degrees back instead.
