In these days of radar vectors and T-shaped RNAV approaches, it's a rarity to have to fly a procedure turn unless you request it, just to keep the rust off. That makes getting one in the high lonesome of actual IMC a bit of a shock. Not that flying a procedure turn is any big deal, so long as you can find some batteries for that timer you haven't used in 18 months.
