a) The determination of the technical problem underlying a patent is part of the construction of the patent claim. The technical problem is to be developed from what the invention actually accomplishes. b) Details contained in the patent description concerning the "object" of the invention can contain an indication of the correct interpretation of the patent claim. However, as with the entire other contents of the patent specification, such details are subject to the priority of the patent claim.
