Aixtron says that it is extremely satisfied with the results of fiscal year 2001. Revenues increased by 52% to EUD240.1m (51% in Asia, 29% in N.America, and 20% in Europe), 1-BIT by 65% to EUD54.2m and EBT by 60% to EUD57.7m. Consolidated net profits,were up 82%. to EUD36.6m Earnings per share amounted to EDU0.52 (pry. EUD0.29). The return on sales after taxes totalled 14.0% (pr. y. 11.7%). The Executive Board and Supervisory Board will recommend a dividend of EUD0.18 per share to the General Meeting (+80% yoy).
