AAMI activities: Member of AAMI's Next Generation Task Force and mentorship program, as well as president of the New England Society of Clinical Engineers Most enjoyable part about volunteering: "Being able to give back and contribute to the HTM community. The goals of the Next Generation Task Force and the mentoring program are to attract and retain young talent in the HTM field. I have especially enjoyed being a mentor since the relationship you develop with your mentee is immensely rewarding and engaging. Young HTM professionals may come across challenges and what may seem like complex problems early in their careers. It is invaluable for these young professionals to have a way to get advice and guidance from someone who has gone through similar experiences."
