British Airways Engineering, an aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul provider, is expanding its commercial learning academy to help customers as they bring Boeing 787 and Airbus A380 aircraft into their fleets. The first such course, lasting 35 working days, targeted engineers wishing to qualify in Boeing 787 B1/B2 maintenance theory with the Trent 1000 engine. The 787 course and classroom, built to Boeing specifications, draw heavily on British Airways Engineering's first-hand experience in aircraft maintenance.
