There isn't one perfect system for organizing inventory in every shop. What's important is to have a system-one that will work for you. In the Banner Creations Inc. shop, most of the hardware that's in stock has been ordered specifically for a job in progress, so company president Nora Norby marks banner frames with the name of the job they're associated with and stores them on shelves that are also marked with that same name.
