International trade fairs allow companies to show off their wares and demonstrate product advantages in a fair competition. Koel-nmesse GmbH, Cologne, Germany, organizes major exhibitions, many attended by companies from China. Unfortunately, pirated products displayed at such events can trigger outrage among businesses with legal rights to ideas or technology-that may be displaying elsewhere in the hall.
