Like many of its counterparts in the textile industry, narrow fabrics have undergone a makeover in the last few decades. Narrow fabrics have been loosely defined as "textiles that are 12 inches wide or less and are made by weaving, knitting or braiding fibers or yarns with an edge that will not unravel." For years, they have provided innovative solutions to industries such as electronics, military, medical and aerospace, along with many commercial and industrial applications.
