Military personnel are challenged each time they step onto a minefield, whether to clear it or to lead troops through it. Achidatex Inflatable Safety Minefield Shoes use a patented two-layer interconnected air cell cushion system to reduce the chance of deflation. The wearer's weight is then spread out and reduced to less than the minimum force required to trigger an active mine, so chances of unknowingly setting one off is greatly reduced. A flexible, tear-resistant fabric envelope makes up the shoes, with a two-layer system of interconnected air cells.
