It is estimated that fires cost UK business £3.4m ($5.4m) every day At a time when budget cuts have placed the fire and rescue services resources under pressure, it is time for UK pic (public limited company) to take responsibility for protecting its businesses effectively This can be done through the installation of fire sprinklers. A new report entitled Assessing the Role for Fire Sprinklers, conducted by the environmental research group Bureau Veritas has been commissioned by the Business Sprinkler Alliance, for the purpose of providing a technically robust insight into the environmental and community impacts of fire in sprinklered and non-sprinklered single-storey commercial and industrial premises.
