The UFD specifies Dr Sthamer-Hamburg Moussol APS 3/3, as it is a foam for polar and non-polar solvents, and the Hellbeaters feature a foam unit that pumps the firefighting agent from one of the six available 20m3 containers. There is also an inductor unit on the monitor that mixes the foam to the required percentage. The water to feed the units is delivered by two boats operated by the Rotterdam Port Authority and each pump is able to deliver 40mJ per minute through 1,500 metres of 8-inch hose.
