The Unitor 1230 system is designed as a total flooding system for protecting spaces with fire hazards. As an extinguishing agent Novec 1230 has no measurable environmental impact in respective of GWP and ozone depletion, and with a remarkable safety factor reaching NOAEL value (No Observed Adverse Effect Level) of 10%. For protecting regular machinery spaces the safety factor can be 81% while a concentrate rate of 5.5% is used according to rules. For this reason Novec 1230 has been classed as a safe agent and can be used for flooding an area where people are present.
