Dorma has been trading since 1908 - we celebrated our 100-year anniversary at the start of July. We started off in the door control business, and we also have Dorma Automatics, Dorma Glass and Dorma Service backs up our other divisions. We've had Dorma Moveable Walls since we bought Huppe in 2000. Our clients include the Hilton, Dakota and Radisson hotel chains. When a good moveable wall is pulled, clients shouldn't realise they're in a divisible space. When it's apart, they shouldn't be aware it's there at all. We do walls in sports centres that can stand up to high impact, or for hotels that want to match oak veneers. Our Variflex product is very flexible. It can go up to just over 14m high, with a 60dB sound rating, and a panel width of between 600mm and 1,250mm. It can be 100% manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic. Designers can specify a fabric, or steel or aluminium facing. We launched Moveo in 2006. It's semi-automatic as standard, with smoke protection, 55dB sound performance, and weighs only 40kg per sq m, lighter than our competitors. We're getting 150 enquiries a month.
