'Making it in the political blogosphere' is a collection of 20 interviews with some of the most influential US-American political bloggers, explaining 'what they've done to become so successful, and what others can do to emulate their success' (p. 16). The interviews, which make up most of the book, are framed by a brief introduction discussing 'the rise and influence of the political blogging A-list' with reference to a wide array of academic research, and a more practically minded conclusion, which summarises some of the advice offered in the interviews about how to plan, produce, and promote a blog. It is an interesting and engaging read that appeals to a wide audience and offers plenty of helpful - if at times somewhat obvious - practical advice to bloggers.
