Nearly 19,000 librarians, library workers, and library supporters from around the world joined in the shared endeavor of "Transforming our libraries, ourselves" at the 2014 ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas Nevada, from Friday, June 27th to Monday, June 30th. Attendees took part in 2,700 programs, sessions, events, and presentations discussing the latest products and services available to librarians. Offering opportunities to meet, greet, and share ideas among librarians, teachers, vendors, and publishers, ALA Annual expands networks, builds knowledge, and strengthens the profession of librarianship.
