The subject of GOIN is how to construct Global Observation Information Database in order to facilitate information exchange. It is desired to provide WWW interface, which is normally used on the Internet, to retrieve the database. There are two points to be regarded when constructing database: user interface which implements easy retrieval, and visualization of the result data. JAVA and VRML provide these solutions.
