David Y. Lee and Matt Adams look at 7,000 images a day. They're editors at Your Shot, an online community that National Geographic created for photographers-whether the pictures are taken with a $6,500 Nikon D5 or a camera on a cellphone.Lee and Adams review every photo uploaded to the site (yourshot.nationalgeographic.com). Photos are published in categories such as Animals, Architecture, Fashion, Food, Landscapes, Nature, Sports, and Travel, and your shot could be one of the few chosen each month to appear in National Geographic magazine. The site also offers special projects and feedback on your photography from other members of the Your Shot community, as well as expert tips from the editors.
