Marcelle Beaudiquez died on Dec. 4,2019. She joined the National Library of France in 1970 and participated in various activities related to bibliographic topics, documentary standardization, and librarian training. At the National Library, she launched and conducted the first retrospective conversion projects of its catalogs. Beaudiquez was part of IFLA, serving as its treasurer at one point, and the Association of French Libraries, serving as its general secretary in the early 1980s.
