Most information professionals would say that libraries play an important role in society through their provision of services and information. We believe that we help people. But just what is our role? How do we fit into society? The concepts of human rights and social justice have become increasingly significant in recent years. How do they relate to libraries? How do librarians see ourselves addressing them? Libraries, Human Rights, and Social Justice: Enabling Access and Promoting Inclusion explores a number of interesting issues.
