Technology and services company codeMantra got its start in the late 1990s by taking original print content and digitizing it for customers. Many transcription services have come and gone over the last 15 years, says David Bass, VP of sales and marketing, but codeMantra worked its way up to and maintains a spot in the top five players of the industry. In the past 7 years, codeMantra has grown from a business focused solely on content conversion services to one that actively supports publishers in the composition, management, and distribution of content. Chief among codeMantra's efforts has been collectionPoint, a cloud-based technology platform for publishers to manage and distribute their digital assets.
