It's time to say "kudos" to Kudos. The platform officially launched in April after a successful pilot phase last fall. Now researchers can use the free Kudos toolset to increase the accessibility and discoverability of their published articles and books. Kudos 1.0 offers authors three core steps to enhance the research impact of their work: They can explain it (write a short title, lay summary, and impact statement), link resources (e.g., images, videos, and blogs) to it, and share it (via email or social media). Kudos then tracks the articles' abstract views, downloads, and media coverage.

7. Commodity prices have risen sharply since 2006. This may benefit developing countries specialized on primary exports, but poverty may increase. Uruguay is a net exporter of primary products and a net importer of oil.
