I wanted to spend money. 1 had already picked out a handsome red nylon tote bag with leather handles, and I was waiting for the Nordstrom semiannual sale to begin. When the day finally arrived, I went to the Nordstrom website, and there it was-the tote bag of my dreams, reduced by $50. I quickly added it to my online shopping cart and immediately went to check out (to avoid further temptation by not browsing the rest of the items on sale, especially the shoes). I filled in the form, entered my credit card number, and clicked the button to submit my order. Or, at least, I tried to click. The button did not work. Firefox apparently did not like whatever JavaScript Nordstrom was using during the checkout process. I tried again using Chrome and had pretty much the same result.
