While most Americans are busy trying to keep their New Year's resolutions, ED KEATING has set his own goals as the new chief content officer (CCO) at BLR-Business & Legal Resources. Before joining BLR, Keating was vice president of the content division at The Software & Information Industry Association. He also previously held positions at EDGAR Online, Inc.; Easton Consultants, Inc.; and CCH, Inc. (Commerce Clearing House/Wolters Kluwer). For Keating, this newly created position at BLR combines some of the traditional responsibilities of editor-in-chief along with product management disciplines. As CCO, he intends to "build and retain a top-rate content team, launch new products, and identify new market information needs." He sees BLR's deep collection of 300-plus products with having the potential of creating many opportunities to develop new ones.
