Professional workflows come in all varieties. When LexisNexis and OverDrive, Inc. recently agreed to create customized ebook lending and management services, they billed the new offering as "the largest collection of authoritative legal eBook content on all major mobile devices and desktop platforms." As a law librarian, I have used LexisNexis for decades, and I have taught more than a thousand law students how to use it.
