Wilson launched a mobile interface for its Wilson Web reference service so users can access reference databases and other facets of the platform through smartphones and other mobile devices. WilsonWeb Mobile also offers parallel tools such as the ReadSpeaker text-to-speech converter, full article translations, and referring pagernauthentication. Other features include library co-branding so participating libraries can embed their own logos in the mobile interface. The company also announced that it plans to integrate My Wilson-Web accounts into the platform to let users create custom lists of articles through the service. WilsonWeb Mobile works with many smart-phone platforms, including Android, BlackBerry, and iOS-based devices, according to the company.
