I have a folder in Google Reader labeled "Buzz," which contains all of the feeds that I use to keep up with the online trends taking place. These feeds are general in nature, so they show content from all aspects of the web. Forrnexample, I monitor Reddit and Digg to find out what those constituents think is hot. I also monitor the feed for the most emailed items from The New York Times .
