Several library consortia signed on to use EBSCO's RapidRenewal service for processing ejournal package renewals. RapidRenewal offers an automated online alternative for libraries that are losing staff due to budget cuts. The service enables libraries to process large content licensing deals by incorporating contract terms and limitations, title detail, and custom pricing into one online interface. Through the Rapid Renewal partnerships, member libraries can negotiate terms and conditions and renew their collections according to contract terms.
