In 2005, Peter Nieforth and Narayan Sainaney created Vitrium Systems, Inc., a PDF technology provider. At the time, the co-founders focused on their main goal of creating a solution for organizations to protect the content contained in their PDF documents. According to Nieforth, Sainaney, who previously worked at Adobe and Microsoft, is "a real technology visionary." He led Vancouver-based Vitrium during its first years of operation and then passed the reins to Nieforth, who currently serves as CEO.
