All age groups seem to be equally as impatient when it comes to dealing with search and navigation tools. The Google generation does not have a monopoly on poor information-seeking behavior, according to a new study. However, the young still exhibit a lack of critical and analytical skills even though they are more confident and familiar with computer equipment and social networking. In fact, one author of a recent study described the term "Google generation" as unhelpful since it overestimates the effect of technology on the young, and it also underestimates its effect on older generations.
