The Thomson Corp. completed its acquisition of Reuters. The new company will be named Thomson Reuters. The Scientific business of Thomson Reuters announced the results of its annual roundup of the "hottest" researchers and research papers of the year. The results can be found in the March/April issue of Science Watch. In other news, Thomson Reuters received the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the innovation category. The company was chosen to receive the award in recognition of Thomson Pharma, a global pharmaceutical information program that covers the drug discovery and development pipeline.
