They are annoying, ignorant, solipsistic, inane, and puerile-and those are their good points.rnThe worst thing about blogs is that they violate a first principle of good communication: They are boring; they are completely predictable. The old expression, "If you've seen one, you've seen them all" was coined in anticipation of the blogosphere. But, you might ask, "If blogs are so bad, why are there so many of them?" Technorati, the leading blog search engine, counted 108 million of them (the latest figures). Well, being bad hasn't stopped the spread of reality TV shows, rap videos, and ringtones, but there are other reasons as well.
