TFPL, the Liondon-based information-professional recruitment specialist, has been sold to software vendor i-documentsystems (IDOX) for about $7.3 million. IDOX will make an initial payment of $3.7 million in cash and shares and another $3.7 million in 2006 if gross profit targets are met. TFPL founder Nigel Oxbrow, who holds the majority of the privately owned company's shares, will remain with TFPL as managing director. He will also take a place on the IDOX board. Active in the information industry since 1987, TFPL is primarily engaged in recruiting and training librarians and information professionals. It also organizes the annual European Business Information Conference.
