Current figures mean that the upcoming ice cream season is something to look forward to. With sales of 622 million liters, the German ice cream market in 2014 gained 1% over the previous year. Germany is thus the highest-volume market for ice cream, ahead of Russia (490 million liters / +2.1%) and Great Britain (396 million liters / +1.7%). With statistics like these, in the year ahead it will once again be a challenge to make people even more excited about ice cream and draw more consumers to the freezer section of the supermarket. This is why WILD has developed new concepts with which manufacturers can turn simple kinds of ice cream into special desserts to be enjoyed at home or while on the go.
