United Caps has announced that it is seeking to construct a new manufacturing plant in the Valframbert Business Park of Alencon, France, as part of the company's 'Close to You' strategy. UNITED CAPS is currently working with the Communaute Urbaine d'Alencon (CUA - Urban Community of Alencon) and with Orne Developpement (a service of the Orne Department Council) to negotiate the purchase of 25,000 square meters of land upon which a purpose-built factory will be constructed, with a first construction phase of 4,000 square meters. This project represents an investment of € 12 million and is expected to employ 15 staff in two years.
