摘要

The chemical equilibria in the hydrolysis of high-purity germanium tetrachloride and arsenic trichloride at low water concentrations were studied by IR spectroscopy. The equilibrium constant of AsCl_3 hydrolysis was shown to correlate with the activity coefficient of AsCl_3. The equilibrium constants and thermo- dynamic characteristics of GeCl_4 and AsCl_3 hydrolysis in CCl_4 were calculated for the temperature range 283- 333 K.
