For all practical purposes, Orient Paper & Industries Ltd, the C.K. Birla Group company, is out of the pulp and paper making joint venture in Kenya, though the company still retains 29.34 per cent stake worth Rs 4 crore in the three-way joint venture; the other partners being the Government of Kenya and IFC.
