The UK's Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI) has elected Steve Smith as president of the Recovered Paper Sector. Smith is Director of SCA Recycling UK Ltd with responsibility for Finance and Human Resources. Smith succeeds Chris White, commercial manager at Aylesford Newsprint, whose two-year term as president of CPI ended. In addition, Neil Clarke, managing director of Recycling UK Ltd, was elected to serve as Smith's vice president.
