As search engines and searching technique get more capable and sophisticated, the delivery system for accessing your search results has remained the same. That is, until recently, when new productivity gizmos, such as Internet Explorer toolbars, have become widely available. While these tools allow you to quickly perform searches without leaving your current Web browser window, wouldn't it be nice if you could search without using a Web browser at all? Instead of having to switch from your current application to your Web browser to perform a simple search, you do have some new options when it comes to searching the Web. The newest trend in search technology is adding the search function directly to your Windows taskbar, allowing you to do your searches without having to switch applications. We've found three of these taskbars that can not only give you excellent searching capabilities, but also might change the way you search the Web.
