The White House announced today it would restore $2.2 billion in remaining unobligated military construction funds former President Trump previously redirected to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border without the approval of Congress. The $2.2 billion will fund 66 military construction projects that Trump ordered deferred in 11 states, three territories and 16 countries. The restoration includes $ 10 million for the Missile Field Expansion at Ft. Greely, AK. "The field is part of the U.S. defenses against North Korean ballistic missiles, and was due for an expansion to add two missile interceptors," according to the Office of Management and Budget.
