FINANCE IN THE LAB IS A LOT DIF-ferent from finance on the factory floor. Marcos L6pez de Prado, an executive at fixed-income specialist Guggenheim Partners, knows both venues well. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Portfolio Management - Institutional Investor's (much brainier) sister publication - and in the latest issue heartily critiques how universities are teaching finance.
